The Bear Woodcutter is a special enemy that appears exactly once in Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance.

Tends to sleep while on duty, but when it wakes up, things get serious.
The sole Bear Woodcutter in the game is found in the Ravaged Outskirts, sleeping in the midst of the battle, and initially cannot be interacted with. At wave 8 in Campaign mode, it wakes up and cuts a lane through the swathe of forest to the western side of the area, adding another path for enemies and opening up an extra Strategic Point for the player. After the path is clear, the Bear Woodcutter will proceed towards the western exit and become attackable.
In Heroic and Iron Challenge modes, the Bear Woodcutter is not present and the path starts off already cut and available for enemies.
