Sadness overtakes our hearts as we lay our eyes on a fallen champion.

So deeply did Lord Blackburn yearn for the power to battle evil, that it corrupted him, sinking his lands into the grip of darkness.

Alas, he cannot be saved; but we have arrived just in time to rescue good King Banesti from being hanged.

General, you hold the key to the peace between the kingdoms... defeat Lord Blackburn and perhaps death will give him a measure of redemption!

Castle Blackburn is the twenty-sixth stage in Kingdom Rush and the fourth in the Curse of Castle Blackburn mini-campaign available on Steam, iOS and Android.

**Strategy**
General Sheep and Skeleton Knights appear on this Iron Challenge. Upgrades and Hero At this point, you should have a sufficient number of stars to upgrade your Upgrade Tree fully. Any melee or ranged heroes are acceptable, as the former can focus on combating Skeleton Knights while the latter can specialize in dealing Black Hags and Sheep Reinforcements with Spear Throw can harm flying sheep. Towers Upgrading pre-built Sorcerer Mage Tower to Polymorph Level 3 is recommended due to Black Hags, which have high magic resistance and possess Toad's curse. Polymorphed enemies can be clicked to death. Placing another Sorcerer Mage Tower on Black Hags' path with Polymorph upgraded is recommended, as Black Hags may arrive in pairs or even threes. Skeleton Knights are immune to polymorph, so use polymorph solely on Black Hags. It is strongly recommended to build as many Level 4 Mage Towers as possible, as the vast number of Sheep and their relatively fast speed may bypass your towers easily, especially later on. Otherwise, sheep can be tapped to death, just like polymorphed enemies.
