Demon Hounds are infernal dogs that move quickly and explode upon death (like Demon Spawn and Demon Lords), damaging nearby soldiers.
Overview[]
Vicious terrible creatures, they serve as hunting dogs for the demon lords.
These nasty beasts are annoying to deal with. Their magic resistance, infernal combustion, and fast speed allow them to pass through chokepoints with ease. In large numbers, they can be hard to stop.
Strategy[]
- Archer and Artillery towers should be used against these enemies, as they are resistant to magic and their ability to dodge melee attacks makes them difficult for soldiers to kill, not to mention their 'infernal combustion' which damages all troops in the area upon death.
- Archer towers are a good choice against all wolves; their high firing speed ensures that they will deal damage before the speedy wolves move out of range.
- Their infernal combustion does 70-140 physical area damage.
Appearances[]
Overview[]
These Demon Hounds are found with other demons and with higher health and a dodge chance can be more dangerous.
Traits[]
Fireborn : This unit is immune to burning
Dodge : 30% chance to dodge targeted melee attacks
Skills[]
Name | Cooldown | Type | Range | Effect | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Blazing Bite | 0 | Regular | 1 | The Hound's basic attack, deals [attack] ± 1 damage and inflicts burning for two turns. | |
Infernal Sacrifice | 2 | Regular | Self | When the Hound's health is lowered to 1 , runs towards the closest target and explodes, dealing 5 to adjacent units. |
Strategy[]
- They should be taken out by ranged units before they are able to explode. A Demon Lord can command them to explode. Their dodge chance and burning bite make them more dangerous than Demon Spawn.
