Strategy

General[]

Due to the large amount of high-health enemies such as Golems and Avengers, investing in instant kills is extremely important. Start with a barracks near the end of the middle path, and immediately obtain a wild magus in a plot close by. Do not bother developing the bottom exit at the beginning since no enemies will attempt to break out there until wave 10. The middle path is unusually wide so micro the barracks troops as needed.

As the game proceeds, quickly construct additional wild magi, preferably near any barracks and in the centre lane, since the boss will head straight to the exit through the centre, and golden longbows. Anticipate the arrival of the golem on wave 7 by having several wild magi prepared. Develop several golden longbows and ensure the bottom exit is protected.

By wave 10 several golden longbows should already have been constructed with crimson sentence learnt. Mounted avengers are tough, but the avenger does not dismount when hit with instant kills, so crimson sentence and eldritch doom will come in handy. Continue on upgrading crimson sentence and eldritch doom.

The boss arrives on the stone path beside the gates on the right-hand side and will proceed on a straight path to the exit on the left-hand side. He can hit your barracks troops from a safe distance, so watch the exit at all times. A golem and several avengers will also appear so ensure they are accounted for. A good way to distract Baj'nimen is to place a barracks at the centre lane, and upgrading the barracks when all the troops surrounding Baj'nimen have been defeated. A similar technique can be used when defending the exit. Once the golem and other nuisances are knocked out, turn your attention to Baj'nimen and finish the level.

Upgrades and Hero[]

All upgrades should be maxed out. Heroes should be at level 10. Eridan, whose arrow storm ability is particularly powerful, is a suitable choice, although Arivan or other magic heroes may help in dealing with Avengers and Golems.

Towers[]

Golden longbows and wild magi are expected. Three of each, placed strategically, is enough on normal difficulty. All the longbows will preferably have crimson sentence fully upgraded. Hunter's mark is also welcomed. Wild magi will preferably have eldritch doom unlocked to level 1, to obtain the instant kill, and additional upgrades on Ward of Disruption is useful but not absolutely necessary.
