Lokr Arena Profile

The Arena is a special game mode in Legends of Kingdom Rush in which randomly generated combat scenarios are generated. The Arena is unlocked after defeating Krum'Thak Ragestorm. It has two modes, Quick Play and Daily Challenge.

Features[]

Each scenario consists of a single battle, the same as would be found in any Adventure. The main arena is similar in shape and style to the boss fight with Krum'Thak Ragestorm, with a crowd made up of greenskins, trolls and humans. Other features such as ponds, forestry, rocks or barriers will also appear randomly.

Before a battle starts, a team of one to seven Legends and Companions is generated. This is the only time more than one Legend can participate in a battle at the same time. The level of each is also randomised, as is the choice of Tier 2 and Tier 3 attack. All potential Legends and Companions are made available, despite who is still locked in the Adventure selection.

Up to three Diversifiers are added to the battle, adding buffs or debuffs to both enemies and heroes, or creating an outside effect that can influence either during play.

Quick Play[]

Lokr Arena QPlay

Quick Play allows for new scenarios to be played over and over, with each one being randomly generated. The Difficulty can be changed between Casual and Normal play.

A set of Dice will roll a new scenario. There is no way to go back to a previous generated scenario, or any means to preview what it coming next.


Daily Challenge[]

Lokr Arena Daily

Each day a specific combination of scenario, along with the heroes and diversifiers will be created for all players to compete in. This scenario cannot be re-rolled, nor can the difficulty be altered.

A final score is based on performance and various feats, and placed on the global leaders board, as well as a friends list and your recent scores.


Diversifiers[]

Name Effect
Div Audience Encouraging Audience Each round, the audience throws food items into 5 random hexes around the battlefield. Units that walk over those items consume them, receiving a small amount of healing.

Food Duration: 2 LokR Duration Icon
Div Bashed Bashed Heroes All heroes in the party start the combat with some of their max HP missing.
The affected units can still receive healing from any source, up to their max HP.
Div Burning Burning Desire All heroes in the party start the combat Invigorated but with a longer lasting burning modifier.
Burning Direction: 2 LokR Duration Icon
Div Divine Divine Intervention Each round, a telegraphed area of 1-hex radius is hit by a beam of healing light that restores HP and removes all weakened debuffs from any units standing under it.

Div Drowsy Drowsy Enemies Some random enemies start the combat asleep.

Div Fans Fans' Favorite Each time a hero in the party kills an enemy, they get inspired, which boosts their attack and damage reduction.

Div Faster Faster than Light All starting enemy units have extra speed.

Div Fireworks Fireworks Rain Each round, a telegraphed area of 1-hex radius is bombarded by 5 projectiles that fall on random hexes within it, damaging and applying burning to units struck by them.
Damage: 3 LokR Attack Icon

Div Forge Orcish Forge All enemies have improved armor from the start of the combat.
Extra Armor: +3 LokR Armor Icon
No change in the units' armor regeneration.
Div Ready Ready for Action Al heroes in the party have their skill cooldown reduced.
Cooldown: -1 LokR Duration Icon
Div Sol Sol's Guidance All heroes in the party start the combat with an active Shield of Retribution modifier.
Div Thorns Army of Thorns All starting enemy units deal retribution damage when receiving targeted melee attacks.
Damage Retribution: 1 LokR TrueDam Icon
Div Ultra Ultra Ultras Every other round, the audience throws up to 3 explosive barrels around the battlefield.
If there are fewer than 3 units alive, the number of falling barrels is reduced.

Elite Enemies[]

The Arena can feature any enemy that has appeared in the main Adventures, with the exception of bosses. Though it is unlocked after only one Adventure, all enemies from the entire campaign and post-game are immediately found in the Arena. In addition, there are also Elite enemies, that appear only in the Arena. These are stronger versions of other enemies, with new skills and increased HP and armor.
