Giant Spiders are enemies in Kingdom Rush that move very quickly and have high resistance to magic.
Description[]
Quick, vicious enemies resistant to magic.
These spiders are much larger than real-life spiders, hence their name, but they are still quite small in comparison to other units.
Strategy[]
- Magic towers should not be used against Giant Spiders. They are very resistant to magical attacks.
- Because Giant Spiders are so fast, towers with long reload times, namely artillery, may not have enough time to kill them. They should therefore be used in conjuction with archer towers or barracks. Barracks and reinforcements should be used liberarlly, otherwise these enemies can quickly overwhelm the player's defenses.
- It is a good idea to set up a choke point. Barracks will stop them from leaking past, and artillery will blow them up.
Appearances[]
- Silveroak Forest
- Icewind Pass
- Forsaken Valley
- The Dark Tower
- Sarelgaz's Lair

Trivia[]
- Contrary to all other enemies, the Giant Spiders' name is pluralized in the game, even in regard to single specimens.
- A total of 397 Giant Spiders appear throughout all of the levels in the game.
- Game files name: "enemy_spider_small"
