Greenfins are the basic enemies in the Rising Tides mini-campaign, and the first encountered Deep Devils.
Overview[]
Vicious fishlike hunters that stalk the shores for human prey.
Unlike most other basic enemies (Bandits, Savage Warriors, etc...), Greenfins are quite hardy and can take a fair amount of damage. They possess the ability to throw nets (cooldown: 8 seconds). When trapped in their net, soldiers and heroes are disabled for 6 seconds and one second respectively. There's otherwise not much strategy to defeat them, other than to pound them with everything you've got.
Strategy[]
- Assassins, Mirage and Kutsao can evade Greenfin's net with their dodge ability. It is advised to max Assassins' Counterattack/Dodge ability and support them with Necromancer Tower.
- Keep blocking them with Reinforcements to slow them down.

Trivia[]
- The appearance of the Greenfins, along with the Redspines, appear to be based on the Deep Ones from H. P. Lovecraft's novella The Shadow Over Innsmouth.
- The Greenfins in the Deep Devil's Reef are almost identical in appearance - the only notable difference is that they lack pupils in Vengeance.
