Ma'qwa Urqu is the tenth stage in Kingdom Rush: Frontiers. The Battle-Mecha T200 is unlocked in this stage.

A Savage Brute spawns on waves 5, 7, 10, 13 and 14. On Steam, it spawns on wave 4, too.

Strategy

General[]

Battle Mechas are super effective at this stage. You may start with one Battle Mecha and micromanage it back and forth together with your hero, depending on which side has more enemies coming. Then build Necromancers on both sides, a Crossbow Fort on the last strategic place to catch Poukai – and after that you may simply spam Battle Mechas with Wasp Missiles (just try to concentrate them at your chokepoints).

You should still remember to micromanage because some Savages will make it past Battle Mechas anyway.

Poukai Riders tend to be the major problem of this approach. Try to slow them down with reinforcements. When enough Poukai Riders are stuck at one place, strike them with Rain of Fire. Never let too many Poukai Riders make it to your last chokepoints or else nothing will save you from the fast Poukai.

As for Savage Brutes, never let them reach the volcano or else you will lose plenty of ground units for nothing. Killing Savage Brutes with one or two reinforcement teams seems to be the best choice.

Upgrades and Hero[]

Maxing out Reinforcements and getting Scorched Earth is advised.

Towers[]

Necromancers on both sides provide you with magical damage, air control and skeletons. One Crossbow Fort will handle the Poukai. Everything else is just the sheer might of Battle Mechas with Wasp Missiles.

The volcano activates on its own.

Strategy

General[]

  • The volcano erupts on its own, so pay attention to your Melee Towers and and make sure to move them elsewhere, or else they will be targeted by the volcano. Assassin's Guilds in idle will not be targeted by the volcano.
  • There are no armored enemies, and Archers deal physical damage.

Upgrades and Hero[]

Towers[]

  • If using Barracks, the support of two or three Archers is advised to keep Enemies in combat as long as possible before they bypass the Melee towers.
  • Crossbow Fort's Barrage is advised, and Tribal Axethrowers' abilities are also advised to be upgraded within the group of enemies.
  • Worry more about upgrading Archers than Barracks, as Barracks are used to support blocking, not fighting.

Strategies[]

  1. Build Level 4 Barracks near both entrances and Archers on the rest of the Strategic Points; spending Gold to remove overgrowth is not strictly necessary.
  2. Earn enough Golds to upgrade to Crossbow Fort with Barrage Fire from the farthest towers.
  3. Your barracks, hero, and reinforcements should only block Blood Tricksters, preferably keeping them at the very entrance. Archers will handle all other enemies, though you might need reinforcements to stop some enemies from leaking to the exit.
  4. Constantly move your units to block Blood Tricksters. Try to block as many of them as possible to stop them from advancing, creating zombies, and throwing powerful ranged attacks. If possible, aim Rain of Fire upon two or more Blood Tricksters.

Note[]

Savage Zombie are first encountered in this level, though as they are spawned by Blood Tricksters, they do not have info-cards like all other enemies despite them featuring in the in-game Encyclopedia.
