When someone vandalized the wiki with less than 3 (vandalism) edits, warn them. Otherwise, issue a 1-week ban. For more than 10 (vandalism) edits, 2-week ban shall be issued. For more than 50 edits, feel free to decide on your own, but it's advised not to ban them too cruelly.
If someone misbehaves in discussions, warn them. If the troll comes in discussions and troll again (especially circumventing a local block), please delete the post and block them in the wiki. If they sockpuppet, then block them as the exact same length as their block on the original account. Continuously sockpuppeting, and you can issue an infinite block.
You can modify AbuseFilter to prevent certain edits, but it requires your knowledge of regex. Ask me in my wall if you wanted to request a filter which you cannot write on your own. I can help you write a proper filter, so that way you can filter one yourself (without asking for help) in case, let's say, someone vandalized the page with huge fonts or adding excessive profanities on pages.
If the troll abuses HTML on your wall and you wanted on my wall, I'll clean up for you. Just request on my wall or PM on discord (if you have a discord account)
You are allowed to edit protected pages, in case if you are wondering if you are permissible to do so.
You don't really need to protect your userpage, thanks to my knowledge of regex, one filter prevents users editing other people's userpage. Thank me :)
You should delete a page if it doesn't fit in the wiki content, or if someone recently added a page which has nothing to do with the wiki itself.
For massive editing (bot editing), please create a separate account for that. Then notify on my wall, I'll poke the community team to enable the bot flag, and you are good to go.
You did not edit in Community Central, which is fine. However, this is the wiki where people appeal their local block to their blocking admin's wall for emergency. That means blocked users in Kingdom Rush Wiki are allowed to appeal their block on your wall in that Wiki. If they harass you, then contact the Community Central admin.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate and ask me at my wall. Other than that, I trust you to be the local administrator while I'm offline.
I have deleted the page because it wasn't being updated for a long time. I assume nobody is going to add the Kingdom Rush: Vengeance one, so I decided to delete the whole page since every enemy individual page has infobox that displays their stats, anyway. I don't mind if I restore the page, but I do feel like a distraction every time a portion of a wiki is incomplete (like the level pages, that most of them don't have the strategy mini-box completed). I contribute to hundreds of wikis (mostly of them is to fight spam and vandalism), so I don't have a full-time job to moderate the wiki and complete the remaining portion.
Also, this wiki is different than before. During your absence, trolls and vandals decided to vandalize the wiki (literally for months), and causes huge mess that we have to clean it up. In this case, only accounts that are at least 4 days old are allowed to edit, which causes slower new contributors, as well as the completion of the wiki.
What does it mean when an article "Can only be edited in source mode for now." Is there a way to edit such articles? (It happens when I try to edit an article that has mulitple "pages" within it such as Abomination, Lycan, Vez'nan etc.)
I'm asking because I wanted to edit Werewolf and Lycan HP, as they are lower on Steam.
There is a reason for this message from the wiki: There are two or more tabs in the page and it would not be possible to edit it when a page has two tabs or more. I will show you if you need further assistance.
It appears when a page has complex code that cannot be translated into an editable format the same as a standard page. Two tabbed pages are the best example, but the main front page has it as well due to the various different shaped tables and boxes. The wiki automatically goes into source mode, as it's the basic code (very much like basic HTML) to edit things directly.
In Visual Editor you will see pictures, see tables, see info boxes, etc. In Source Mode all of 5hose things become code. So pictures will be the file name, alignment and pixels, tables will be alignment, columns and rows, and info boxes will be slimmed down templates. In source mode you can view a page in more detail, as you can see exactly where the code affects things. Sometimes using Visual mode adds unnecessary code that messes things up if you change too many things over and over.
I personally edit everything in Source Mode so I can see every thing as it should be and the simplest of levels, but a lot of people prefer Visual. So long as you make good use of the preview button to make sure everything is appearing as it should, then you'll be fine. When you choose to edit a page, you can either click 'Edit' and it will open in Visual by default, but there is a tab to switch to Source. Alternatively, on the initial Edit button there is a drop down menu and you can choose Source immediately.
Plus, if you don't know if you edit it correctly or not in Source Mode, go back to Visual Mode and check it to see if that is what you needs. Sometimes, I forgot to close a table and all of those information that are out of the table goes in the table and the page looks messy. Last time, I forgot to put |} when finishing the table in source mode and those events boxes, achivements, and trivia flew in the huge table. Since you are new to Source Mode, I will help you to edit it correctly.
Does Battle Mecha T200 becomes enabled after being disabled by Blacksurge or does it becomes disabled for 7.5s? It does on iOS.
Are barrack towers itself are immune from being disabled by Blacksurge or still can be disabled? It is immune on iOS.
In Dusk Chateau, do you see a bug where it tolds the player that Archers and Barracks are not allowed in the Iron Challenge, but when you really went to the level, you only see that the archer tower option was locked but the barracks is still unlocked? I saw it in iOS.
On Steam, Toughness restores health completely upon upgrade.
Given that Rock Elemental and Death Rider upgrades do the same,I think it is supposed to be like this.
have you tested Sneak Attack on armored enemies? It is bugged on Steam in that it deals physical damage, and I emailed Ironhide anout it 10 days ago. and they replied saying
"Hi, thank you for reporting it!
We'll test it and try to fix it as soon as possible."
Positive, only 1-2 damage done to a blooshell, I believe this is the reason it doesn't work against phantom warriors. Unlike arterial strike, assassins still perform sneak attack on phantoms but it deals no damage. It can still insta-kill them though.
