Myconid is the boss in the new level Fungal Forest.
Description
Very bad temper and strong boxing skills. Prepare to be assimilated.
Myconid is a gigantic mushroom with a high area attack but the lowest health of every boss in the game. After death, he explodes, dealing 300-500 damage to every troop around him. After blowing up, 25 Rothshrooms spawn at his location.
Strategy
- Arcane Towers do so much damage that he won't make it even half way across the map even on veteran difficulty.
- A sorceror mage's elemental can stall him for a good while, then you can send a melee hero to fight him while the elemental recharges, and repeat that process so that he doesn't move an inch.
- Rain of Fire is better saved after the Rothshrooms spawn so they can be dealt with immediately.
