Nightmares are enemies encountered in Kingdom Rush 5: Alliance. They are mostly spawned by Twisted Sisters or Bound Nightmares.

Nightmares are usually spawned by Twisted Sisters. They are also spawned individually by the portal on the ninth stage, Wicked Crossing. Nightmares are untargetable by default, unless blocked by units. They turn visible close to exit.
