We face Moloch, one of the Great Demon Lords. Our sages have discovered that it was he who opened the portal, leading to Pandaemonium, a fearsome hellish plane.

Pandaemonium is the twentieth-second stage in Kingdom Rush and the second one in the Burning Torment mini-campaign. Pit of Fire must be completed in order to unlock it. It is not available on Flash.

The player should note that once Moloch was defeated, other enemies will die and the enemies that are about to spawn from the entrances will die as well.

Strategy

General Pandemonium consists of a variety of enemies, so it requires the use of different towers. Also, the player must correctly use the Rain of Fire and Reinforcements as one mistake can lead to instant defeat. Do not build many weak towers - they will almost always be useless. Try to immediately upgrade the already built tower, as a large role is played by the abilities of the towers. At the level, the player receives a large amount of Gold from enemies. Do not hesitate to sell a useless tower and put a new one in its place, especially on waves 11-16. Upgrades and Hero Gerald Lightseeker can fight toe-to-toe with powerful enemies such as Gulaemon or Cerberus. Also, Shield of Retribution can be used against Cerberus, despite its area attack. Elora Wintersong deals low damage to most demons, but she will be very useful against Demon Legions and Cerberus. In addition, she can slow down groups of enemies, which can help significantly. Oni, due to his immunity to infernal combustions, can also be useful in fighting Cerberus or a group of demons. Most likely, the player will start the level with full upgrades. If this is not the case, you can do without upgrading barracks. Ignus is immune to the burning effect of Thermal Fissures and Flareons' attacks. Towers Building barracks in this level is almost unnecessary. All enemies have Infernal Combustion, most of them have high damage, and they attack in large numbers. Paladins will fight against Cerberus or other single enemies for a while, but will eventually be destroyed by a large number powerful enemies. Barbarians, because of their absolute insecurity, will not be able to survive in battle, and their upgrades are too expensive to spend their money on. Several well-placed Teslas with Overcharge upgrade can kill most demons, such as Demon Spawn, Demon Lord, Flareon, as well as inflict massive damage Demon Legion. With the right game, these towers can be crucial in passing the level. In the Steam version of Pandaemonium, Teslas are best suited for killing massive amounts of Demon Legions in the last wave. One or two Rangers Hideout towers with Wrath of the Forest upgrade can help trap groups of demons, but they need support in the form of other towers. Mage towers deal minor damage to enemies other than Demon Legion and Cerberus, but upgrading them to Sorcerer Mage will be extremely useful. With the Summon Elemental upgrade, it's a very necessary tower. Improving the Elemental will completely restore its health, which is extremely important in battles with Cerberus and Moloch.

Strategy

Upgrades and Hero Demons explode upon death, so a ranged hero may be suitable in this level. Oni is recommended for this level since he is immune to the demons explosions, so that makes him the most durable hero against demons. Other heavily durable heroes, such as Hacksaw or Gerald Lightseeker, are also useful. If you do not have enough stars to upgrade the Upgrade Tree fully, you don't need to upgrade artillery AT ALL since they are restricted in this challenge. Towers At least three Sorcerer Mages are recommended to place near the middle entrance due to Cerberus. Use at least three Elementals for Cerberus. Also, place two more on the bottom due to Demon Legions. Otherwise, since most demons are resistant to magic, archers are the way to deal with demons.

Trivia

• Pandæmonium is the name of the capital of Hell in John Milton's epic Paradise Lost.
• In the initial update of the level, Vez'nan was seen in the cage beside Moloch with his staff still in his hand. This was changed in the next update when it was pointed out that Vez'nan dropped his staff upon his defeat and it was taken by Lord Malagar .
• The throne Moloch is sat upon is similar in appearance to the Iron Throne as seen in the TV Series Game of Thrones based on the books by George R. R. Martin.
• In the top right corner, the Dark Horse character Hellboy and the DC character Etrigan the Demon are seen arm-wrestling. Both characters are demons from Hell, though they are heroes.
