Flash[]

The Flash version of Kingdom Rush has different waves to the other versions of the game. Waves are the same up to and including Wave 10, but after that there are differences in the entrances, numbers and enemies themselves. As such, your strategies for the level should change to reflect the different enemies. Although wave 11 lists 10 Shamans, it actually only spawns 9.

Strategy

General[]

  • This level has a boss with very high HP.
  • The Sons of Sarelgaz have both armor and magic resistance.

Upgrades and Hero[]

  • Try to max out reinforcements, Rain of Fire, Artillery, and Mages for your upgrades. You will be needing them the most.
  • Hero choice is no different from other levels. Heroes such as Gerald, Oni, and Elora are all good choices.
  • Here's like oni and thor are extra good cause thay can ignor both armor and magic resistance. Hacksaw is good because he can instakill.

Towers[]

  • Artillery is great versus the massive number of spiders, especially versus the Sons of Sarelgaz. With both magic resistance and armor, Son of Sarelgaz is best dealt with with Artillery Towers as well. In fact, the stage could potentially be beaten with just Artillery if it wasn’t for certain rounds, such as the flying enemy rounds.
  • Sorcerer Mages place a curse upon every enemy they attack, halving their armor. When paired with artillery, this allows for easy cleanup of all Sons of Sarelgaz.
  • Instakills are advised against Sons of Sarelgaz as well, but don't go too haywire on this due to the massive number of weak enemies. A few Arcane Wizards and Musketeer Garrisons can be a great choice, though.
  • The boss requires a lot of damage to be taken down. Arcane Wizards have excellent range and high dps, so a few of them will be good. However, the boss has many minions, so be sure to have enough artillery to clear the swarms, so that the Arcane Wizards will focus on the boss.
  • On Android/Steam/Switch, Shrapnel Shot deals massive damage if you have Smart Targeting tech upgraded. Make good use of this - its DPS is even greater than an Arcane Wizard. Besides, its explosive damage ignores half of the enemies’ armor, so it helps a ton with the Sons of Sarelgaz as well.
  • If you can’t deal enough damage to take down Sarelgaz, place a Melee Tower instead. Put a barracks in her path, and upgrade it whenever she has eaten all the soldiers. When it reaches level 4, sell and buy again. It is wise to save Rain of Fire for Sarelgaz.

Strategy

General[]

  • Like in most levels, the wave composition of the Heroic challenge isn't all that different from the main stage itself, so play almost as if it were the main stage. Be aware that the right side gets more armored enemies, though.

Upgrades and Hero[]

  • Try to max out reinforcements, Rain of Fire, Artillery, and Mages for your upgrades. You will be needing them the most.
  • Hero choice is no different from other levels. Heroes such as Gerald, Oni, and Elora are all good choices.

Towers[]

  • Tower choice is similar to the main stage as well, except for the fact there's no boss. This means high dps towers like Musketeers with Shrapnel Shot and Arcane Wizards are not as good.
  • You get quite a few armored enemies early on, so try to get a Sorcerer quickly.
  • Tesla is a great starting tower, like always.

Strategy

General[]

  • You will face a lot of Spider Matriarchs with very little crowd control. The best way to deal with them is to kill some of them close to the entrance before they can overwhelm you. This can be done with your hero, or with Rain of Fire. Apart from the first two Sons of Sarelgaz spawning from the central entrance, use your Rain of Fire exclusively on Spider Matriarchs.
  • The side entrances often spawn the same number of Spider Matriarchs as the central entrance, but a bit earlier. Make use of this to judge the size of the Spider Matriarch pack coming out of the central entrance - if there are at least three per side, you should use Rain of Fire on them if it's not on cooldown. The final rush has five from all entrances, so definitely save Rain of Fire for the central entrance there - getting rid of so many at once takes a lot of pressure off of your defense.

Upgrades and Hero[]

  • Try to max out reinforcements, Rain of Fire, Archers, and Barracks for your upgrades. They are the only towers allowed.
  • Hero choice is not really any different from other levels. Heroes such as Gerald, Oni, and Elora are all good choices.

Towers[]

  • Barbarians will truly shine in this level, especially compared to how well they would normally do. Most spiders deal very little damage, so you will have almost all Barbarians dealing damage at any one point in time. Their Whirlwind (not available on Flash) is also very good at killing hordes of weak enemies.
  • If you choose to go for a Barbarian-heavy strategy, go for a few high level Barbarians with Whirlwind and Throwing Axes upgraded. Don't go for low level barracks all over the place.
  • Another great tower is the Rangers Hideout. Wrath of the Forest is amazing at dealing with loosely grouped enemies. Since the vast majority of enemies die to Wrath of the Forest level 2, don't bother buying level 3 until much later in the level, when Spider Matriarchs are more common. Spiders are immune to poison, so don't bother with that.
  • If you choose to go for an archer-heavy strategy, try to fill as many spots with level 1 archers as possible, with possibly some barracks in between. Low level towers are more efficient at dealing damage than high level ones. Once you get a couple of them up to level 2, you can start saving up for Rangers with Wrath of the Forest.
