Orc Shaman are tribal healers with high magic resistance and the ability to cast healing spells on themselves or nearby allies.

Orc Shaman are the player's introduction to magic resistance. They can generally be defeated with a sufficient physical damage output. Alone they are not much of a threat, however, they possess the ability to heal themselves and allies for 50 health (Cooldown: 9 seconds) making them very annoying and difficult to deal with in groups. This ability has limited range so keeping Orc Shaman away from their allies with soldiers can help if the player doesn't have a strong kill zone.
Strategy[]
- Archers are the best way to deal with Orc Shaman, as they attack fast enough that Orc Shaman will usually die before healing sufficiently
- Leveled up towers in general can pick off surrounding enemies, reducing the effectiveness of the Shamans' healing.
- Shamans do not have a high attack damage, so allied units can be sent to hold them for a good amount of time, separating them from other units and allowing towers in the vicinity to deal chip damage to them.
- Unlike many other enemies that heal, Orc Shaman can heal even when blocked. However, this interrupts one of their attacks.
- Orc Shaman can form a very strong combo with Ogres, so the player should try to separate them at all costs, Call Reinforcements works fine for this job.

Strategy[]
- Their weak health makes them easy to kill but they prefer to stay in back of other orcs and heal them. They should be taken out before they can use their healing abilities.
