This article is about the level in Kingdom Rush. For the level in Kingdom Rush: Vengeance, see Silveroak Outpost.

"With Twin Rivers Pass blocked, and after days of marching, we've finally reached the Silveroak Forest outpost... Only to find its troop compliment decimated!
The garrison's men have endured several attacks recently, and their scouts report an even greater enemy force approaching.
Good thing elite ranger units are on the way to help us."

Silveroak Forest is the fifth level in the game comprised of fifteen waves. The player starts with 700 Gold, twelve Strategic Points to build at, and, unlike any other level to date, a pre-built Sharpshooter Tower. Additionally, the player has access to Sylvan Elf Hall, a special non-constructable tower largely worth of investment. The map features three points of entry covering western, southern, and south-eastern approaches. There is a number of choke points favoring extensive use of soldier formations to block great numbers of enemy troops with minimal loss in firepower. Rangers Hideout is unlocked on this level at the start of Wave 5.

Strategy

General[]

  • The Spiders and Matriarchs are the biggest problem in the level. Their sheer numbers make them a much bigger problem than you may think.

Upgrades and Hero[]

  • Gerald Lightseeker is a better choice. Try placing him with a Barracks tower in the northeast, he can stall the spiders efficiently.

Towers[]

  • Prioritize getting all 4 Elves from the Sylvan Elf Hall, then place and upgrade a Barracks tower right in front of them. The damage of 2 of the Elves can already exceed the damage of a Rangers Hideout tower, but they are very fragile and need significant protection from your units.
  • Place Bombards near the eastern entrance, as the Spiders that come out are easily killed by them.
  • Mage Towers near the South entrance are enough to deal with things there. Watch out for the worgs though, you may need Archers for them because of their magic resistance.
  • Do not prioritize getting the Rangers Hideout. Although it is a good boost, the Sharpshooters should be able to handle things.
