The inhabitants of the city of Southport have reported attacks by highwaymen and other roaming outlaws. You must take a battalion to Southport to bolster the city's defenses.

Southport is the first, introductory level in the game comprised of seven waves. The player starts with eight Strategic Points to build at. Only level one towers are initially available.

Strategy

General[]

  • All waves in this level are very small and sparse except for the last two. Call every wave early!
  • Starting from wave 3, you will be able to call reinforcements. Call them near your barracks whenever they become available. Always call them afterwards!

Upgrades and Hero[]

  • No upgrades and no hero.

Towers[]

  • Bombards can take care of the level if they are assisted by many barracks.
  • Archer and barracks alone will likely let the Orcs pass. Build mage towers to take care of them.
  • This level may be easily beaten simply by making large numbers of mages. On veteran difficulty, reinforcements have to be used on the penultimate and last waves.
  • Save Rain of Fire for the last wave if you need.

Strategy

General[]

  • Waves are tougher, but we are more. Call early every wave!
  • Keep calling those reinforcements!
  • You may want to save Rain of Fire for the Orcs in waves 2 and 5.

The waves are more numerous. Upgrade your barracks and reinforcement to improve your blocking.

  • The waves are dense, but bombards alone just don't have enough attack speed. Build many barracks to assist them.

Reinforcements are free and you can call them every 10 seconds.

Reinforcements are very versatile, use them often.

Some enemies wear different levels of armor that protects them against non-magical attacks. Armored enemies take less damage from marksmen, soldiers and artillery.
