Spider Matriarchs (simply called Matriarchs in the mobile version) are enemies that are highly resistant to magic. They lay eggs on the path, which spawn Spider Hatchlings.

Tough magic resistant beast that can spawn several Spiderlings.
Spider Matriarchs are highly resistant to magic attacks. They lay brown eggs on the path behind them, which seconds after being laid, spawn three Spider Hatchlings each.
Strategy[]
- Magic towers are obsolete against Spider Matriarchs, as they are very resistant to magic.
- A combination of artillery towers and barracks should be used. The barracks will halt their advance, and the artillery will take care of any stray hatchlings.
- These enemies should be killed as quickly as possible. Otherwise, its offspring, Spider Hatchling, will spawn and distracts towers and costs lives if exited.
