The Troop Captain is an enemy found in Kingdom Rush: Vengeance, first encountered in Otil Farmlands.
Overview[]
Elite soldiers that fight with great skill and bravery. They're often the ones in charge of training the army's recruits.
Bulky looking Linirea army captains in strong armor, they are in charge of promoting the Recruits into Footmen. They have a good bit of health, damage and armor and shout to promote and transform nearby Recruits to Footmen every 6 seconds if not blocked. The Footmen will not be healed to full, but they will gain 70 extra HP (since they have 70 more HP than Recruits), and their bounty will still remain at 16 gold like the Recruits, which makes the ability purely detrimental to the player.
Strategy[]
- If possible, use reinforcements or your hero to separate them from Recruits, so they cannot transform them into much stronger Footmen.
- Use Mages to bypass the physical defense of these enemies and their accompanying Footmen.
- They can deal a lot of damage, easily killing most soldiers and wound heroes. Take care when stalling them!
